So here I was looking for that perfect white dress for our 10 year anniversary. Call me crazy but I just wanted to feel like a bride again. I searched and searched (became obsessive) and then came across this AHHH-MAZING magenta lace mermaid dress. I fell in love right away and new it was the one (just like that feeling you get when you find your wedding dress). Love that it has built in nude bust and skirt lining. I mean after all….it does have that train in the back wedding gown feel.
You can easily wear open toed flats with this dress for a beachy feel. I wore with leather nude platforms by Calvin Klein. I swept my hair up so I could show off the whole dress.
Love that my husband went out and found himself a matching button down. He loves to dress up just as much as I do!
Thankfully I had room in this dress (being that it so tight) for our fabulous dinner in Chicago at The Signature Room at the 95th. I enjoyed my Seared Sea Scallops in forbidden rice, cauliflower purée and radish salad, along with a few bites of my husbands New York Strip and our delicious Whipped Potatoes and Roasted Asparagus. The views of the city at The Signature room are amazing! I highly recommend it the next time you visit Chicago.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
