Fall In Love

This weekend was perfect for a scenic drive and a hike to Taylors Falls, Mn to get a peak of the fall colors. The temps are way above average for October (today a record breaking high of 83) I could have this weather 365 days a year!

Not only do you find beautiful bold colors in leaves but also in fall fashion. I’m loving the colors emerald green and burgundy right now. I scored on this stylish burgundy oversized fringe tunic sweater (Glamorous Brand) from Nordstrom Rack recently. I love the geometric pattern and the midsection fringe. There is so many fun ways to wear it! Can be worn as a short dress with knee high socks and boots, as well as a pair of leather pants and heels. Keep it casual with boyfriend jeans and a pair of slip ons. I myself paired it with black skinny’s and BDG brand booties. I for sure will get some good use out of this sweater this season!

We stopped at a winery (Winehaven in Chisago City, Mn) on our way back and quintessentially exactly a year ago we were in Napa and Sonoma enjoying some winery tours and tastings. Naturally keeping up with the tradition we wanted to try some wines. Nothing compares to the California winery’s but all and all the wines were pretty good! We tried some seasonal wines and some of their traditional wines as well. My favorites were the pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb.

So get out there with your fall fashion, take a hike, smell and feel the crisp fall air, hear the sounds of crinkling leaves on your feet and enjoy some seasonal wines! It’ll be gone before you know!

Hope you all are enjoying the weekend!
